The Student Experience in the Research University (SERU) Consortium administered a special survey on the impact of COVID-19 on the student experience. The SERU COVID-19 Survey assessed five areas of undergraduate and graduate/professional students’ experiences during the spring 2020 semester: 1) transition to remote instruction, 2) financial impact of COVID-19 3) health and wellbeing during the pandemic, 4) belonging and engagement, and 5) future plans. The survey was a census survey and all undergraduate, graduate and professional students were invited to participate. The data collection started on June 9, 2020 and ended on July 6, 2020. The response rate was 23.5% for undergraduate students and 29.5% for graduate/professional students.
